Bedlam My Love (1972) on Netflix

An old couple recall the life and events that have marked their relationship. The flashback takes place gradually: they start from the day that the husband asked for her hand in marriage and then, following the wedding, the first quarrels, marital misunderstandings, problems with adoption since they couldn't have a child, etc. Their memories create a parade of friends and relatives. From the bittersweet reminiscences of the couple we return to earthbound reality and senescent loneliness. And yet, the love that exists between them warms their hearts and rekindles their spirits.
