    Great movies on this one. I’ve been looking for Whispering Smith with subtitles for a long, long time and was tickled to death to find this, along with 3 other great movies, all with subtitles. My father loves the old westerns (me too) but at 95 his ears aren’t what they used to be, subtitles are so important to us.

    I purchased this collection as it had the modern (1957/58) suspense film Man In The Shadow with Jeff Chandler and Orson Welles . It's not a men on horses western but rather the story of a small town sheriff (Chandler) investigating a Mexican worker's death at a massive ranch owned and operated by Welles' character .
    Unfortunately , my favorite classic film streaming channel (ROKU's Classic Reel) has a badly butchered version of the film that runs only 68 minutes AND has several brutal and obvious cuts to this 81 minute gripper .
    This is a great price for this film alone + you get several other fine classic films as well . All with English subtitles .

At least quality was OK. The only movie I really wanted was "The Far Country". Probably my mistake for not evaluating the description, but I feel that the Amazon's displaying this in a search for James Stewart westerns was a little misleading. Oh Well.
