I tend to choose older movies for Friday streaming movie nights with my wife when it is my turn. I simply trust them more then most of those being produced these days. I saw this lovely sci fi romance long time ago, shortly after its release in 1984. I have personal connection to its protagonist played by young Jeff Bridges who was nominated for the Oscar for his masterful performance in this treasure of American cinema. The higher spiritual being (or space alien for you if you do not subscribe to that definition) used the image of the body of the deceased Scott Hayden in the movie for communicating with his wife Jenny Hayden played masterfully as well by Karen Allen. I had many conversations in metaphysical world with being whom I actually called Starman, who used to appear in our interactions in the form of Jeff Bridges from that movie. He created that form by pulling out that image from my memory. That is why I wanted to see it again. You do not have to believe my claims until you try something like that yourself. After seeing the whole movie again after years I realized that I only remembered Starman reviving the dead dear killed by the hunter.
The space aliens, metaphysical entities or star friends as I call them are contacting variety of individuals all over the planet. One of their agendas is definitely trying to help us become better throughout our children. This visionary movie is gently suggesting that in some point. Why? As Starman tells Jenny in the movie, his distant world he came from is not as beautiful as ours. And they are trying to understand why we are weird, especially because " we are the best when we are in our worst." My wife and I once met young man at metaphysical meditational retreat, who was clearly unusually advanced. What was coincidentally strange about it was that his name was Hayden. If you did not see this great movie please do it now. You can thank me later.
