Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked - One of the Best Movies of 2011!
Critics gave this film horrible reviews. They said that it was lazy. Even co-star David Cross called it the worst experience of his life. They were so damn wrong! I went with my two kids to the premier in Mississauga and they loved it! And so did I. I call it the best movie of 2011. The plot flows smoothly, the characters are great, the actors are great, the whole damn thing is great! I actually cried at a part of this film. I will not tell you what part because that will spoil the whole movie! I will for sure buy this combo pack because I believe that this movie is worth seeing over and over again! If you have younger kids they will enjoy this movie because it is the only film out of all three films that is rated G. There are a few suggestive remarks that will probably go over your kids heads. Please buy this combo pack if you have a Blu - ray player and if you don`t, buy the DVD version, and see if you agree with me.

    My daughter loves her chipmunks. My wife and I hate hearing the same movie over and over and over. So we got Chipwrecked for her to watch and to give ourselves a break. This one is pretty good. Different from the other 2. This version also has a sing along. And having some thing else to let her dance, play and sing along is great, being able to accomplish things at home is invaluable. She likes this one better then either of the other 2. And we like something new to hear instead of the same thing.

My 4yo granddaughter and I love to watch "The Green One" (as she refers to the cover ;) The story is cute, the Island beautiful, and we LOVE the music and the Chipettes along with the story line. The "bad guys" aren't so bad as to scare a little one, and they are transformed by the end of the movie. YAY!!!! I recommend it!

    Chipwrecked has the chipmunks and their female counterparts on a cruise ship. They misbehave and cause disturbance on the ship, then get blown away and stranded on a desert island. David Cross shines in his last appearance as Ian Hawke.

    Alvin is at his most obnoxious in the earlier part of the episode, but rises to become the "responsible" one when they are stranded. Of course, by the end of the movie he is back to his obnoxious self, but for 60 minutes we see his inner qualities of courage and leadership. Stick-up-his-butt Simon gets bitten by a spider and becomes completely reckless. Gluttonous Theodore is at his worst in this movie - stupider than ever, eating all the food, putting out the fire keeping them warm and constantly begging for reassurance. He only cares about himself and has an ego the size as his giant butt. He tries to eat the donut that the six chipmunks are using as a life-raft. It's a wonder the other chipmunks don't go Lord of the Flies on him.
