Product Description

Business consultant Caryn Briggs (Rachel Boston) is still single at 30, but is in no rush to wed. She's always been skeptical about marriage, thinking the commitment would mean throwing away her future. She has let a string of steady boyfriends get away in favor of her own freedom. When she attends a fundraising event with friends Gregg (Chad Krowchuk) and Stephanie (Ali Liebert), she playfully agrees to have her fortune read at a charity booth run by soothsayer Madame Rue (Stefanie Powers), who ominously predicts Caryn will have an engagement ring by spring, or she'll never marry. Caryn doesn't give much thought to Madame Rue's fortune as she starts a new job with friendly, laid-back boss Tom Halsey (Kirby Morrow), with whom she has a lot in common. But when Stephanie and Gregg's fortunes come true, Caryn worries she might be closer to a ring than she thought from her uptight boyfriend, Bryce (Chris Jacot). With Caryn suddenly very nervous about an impending proposal, Bryce shocks her when he breaks up with her instead, claiming she isn't marriage material. Finally faced with the truth, Caryn must admit to herself she needs to get over her fear of lifelong commitment. With spring approaching fast and no ring in sight, Caryn wonders if Madame Rue meant to doom her to a lifetime alone and must learn that the true sacrifice isn't getting hitched, but giving up on a real, lasting love.

VERY cheap quality, overall disappointment
I realize that I ordered a used DVD, but this is unacceptable condition in my opinion!!! First thing I noticed right away is the case is broke, then all the stickers on the DVD label, then when I open it there is a security sticker all around the dvd, I turn it over and notice the purple color which generally means it was a burned copy, and on top of that there are scratches on the disc!! Needless to say I was VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!! These details should be disclosed on the sale!!
Thank you for your feedback

Another winner from Hallmark! if you enjoy surprising characters, familiar relationshippy dynamics, and relatable dialogue, and a hint of startup culture, you'll enjoy this one.

A Ring By Spring is about a woman named Caryn Briggs (Rachel Boston) who is single at 30 year old. For years Caryn was not interested in getting married until she went to a fortuneteller, Madame Rue (Stefanie Powers) with her friends. Madame Rue tells Caryn that she will get a ring by spring or she will never marry. Caryn's boyfriend, Bryce (Christopher Jacot) breaks up with her because he thinks she is not marriage material. Caryn meets with all her serious boyfriends and ask them why they broke up her. Caryn starts a new job and meets her new boss, Tom Halsey (Kirby Morrow). Tom and Caryn have a lot in common. Everyone at the office knows Tom has a crush on Caryn. Tom finally gets the courage to ask Caryn out on a date but Caryn tells Tom she got back together with Bryce and is engaged to him in order to have a ring by spring. Watch this movie to see if Caryn marries Bryce or does she marry Tom. I love this movie I hope you do too.

A very good Rachel Boston movie. Ms. Boston seems to have both excellent and no so good movies. This one is good, well worth your time.

I like the story in the Film "A Ring by Spring.". She is a happy woman, she likes to help others, and she is too busy to even think about finding or wanting a "FOREVER LOVE"! This movie is worth the price and worth the time to watch it!

Better than most Hallmark love story movies. The lead male wasn't your typical hunk but he won me over and the female lead is always good in her roles.

Not a completely predictable romance movie all the way through to the last minute, which I prefer. Cute movie. The lead Rachel is way to chipper, laughing constantly and perfect for real life, but it's a movie. Her "journey" is a good story and I'm sure happens in life.
I will recommend this to people I know like romance movies

Good story. Not too predictable. The acting was better than in most Hallmark movies. Sure it was light and sweet, but it was not corny. It surprised me. I did not feel I was an idiot for watching! I like it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable Hallmark Movie! You’ll love it!

Love this movie - we’ll really, most hallmark movies!
Rachel Boston plays a girl dating the wrong guy but is told by a fortune teller that if she doesn’t get a ring by Spring, she will never marry...her boyfriend dumps her because he wants to start a family and doesn’t think she wants the same things... so she goes through this journey to see what her old boyfriends have to tell her about their relationship. Basically why did they break up. In a typical Hallmark movie, she develops a new love interest, who is her perfect match.
This is one I can watch over and over. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
