    "Moon 44" in der Roland Emmerich Collection [Blu-ray] ist ein absolutes Highlight für jeden Science-Fiction-Fan. Der Film bietet nicht nur eine packende Handlung, sondern auch beeindruckende visuelle Effekte, die dank der Blu-ray-Qualität besonders gut zur Geltung kommen.

    Roland Emmerich beweist einmal mehr sein Talent für fesselnde Geschichten und spannende Action. Die Charaktere sind gut entwickelt und die düstere Atmosphäre des Films zieht einen sofort in ihren Bann. Besonders beeindruckend ist die Liebe zum Detail, die Emmerich in die Gestaltung der futuristischen Welt von Moon 44 gesteckt hat.

    Die Blu-ray-Veröffentlichung überzeugt durch erstklassige Bild- und Tonqualität. Die scharfen Bilder und der klare Sound machen das Film-Erlebnis perfekt. Zusätzlich bietet die Collection interessante Bonusmaterialien, die einen tiefen Einblick in die Entstehung des Films geben.

    Brilliant picture English audio.. Do not get joey it's not in English as stated gutted I wanted it so bad aswel same company moon 44 is stated the same as joey German and English but joey doesn't have English audio or subtitles

    Die vielen negativen Kritiken zu "Moon 44" kann ich nur bedingt nachvollziehen. Ich mag diesen Film irgendwie, er hat einen ganz eigenen Charme. Die Handlung ist zugegebenermaßen überschaubar komplex. Das stört aber irgendwie gar nicht. Die Geschichte an sich wird schon schlüssig erzählt. Dazu kommen atmosphärisch dichte Bilder, dunkel, düster, dystopisch. Man entdeckt viele visuelle Anleihen bei den Konzepten von Syd Mead (Blade Runner) und Ridley Scott bzw. James Cameron (Alien bzw. Aliens). Das Ganze wird dann zu einem durchaus unterhaltsamen SciFi-Movie verwoben. Beim Anlegen heutiger Maßstäbe darf man nicht vergessen, dass dieser Film vor mittlerweile 34 Jahren und mit einem Mini-Budget, noch gänzlich ohne CGI, mit handgemachten Trick-Miniaturen, bei Roland Emmerich daheim in Sindelfingen entstanden ist. Dafür finde ich die Effekte dann durchaus bemerkenswert. Die Bluray liefert gestochen scharfe Bilder, man erkennt deutlich die Wirkung der zuvor erfolgten Restaurierung, zumindest wenn man wie ich noch die DVD-Version kennt. Hin und wieder hätte ich mir die Farben allerdings etwas kräftiger gewünscht. "Moon 44" hat auf jeden Fall seinen festen Platz in meiner Sammlung.
