Buyer beware. I didn't think Amazon allowed boot legged movies. This appears to be a burned disc or copied if you prefer. The reversed side is completely different color than commercially pressed discs.It's kind of a pinkish/purple color which is the usual color of the dye used in dvd rom discs. I've never seen a commercially pressed disc in anything but silver. I've burned lots of DVD's and I know the difference. Could be selling copyrighted material. Surprising though as it's supposed to be sold and fulfilled by Amazon.com. As you can see in one of the images the ISO was evidently created with a discontinued MAC program named DVDAfterEdit. Since this is a pretty old movie (1993) I'm wondering if it was converted from a VHS tape.

    I saw this movie when it was first shown on TV many years ago. I enjoyed it then, but I enjoyed it even more when I recently watched it twice in the same weekend. It's got some great twists and turns, excellent acting, and I especially liked the ending. I love Ron Silver and Rebecca de Mornay and Rutger Hauger is a great actor and a villain I love to hate.

    This film is lots of fun to watch for the excellent acting (see especially Mariska Hagerty as a dark haired beauty who foolishly gets involved with the villain). The movie has an interesting story line about a couple who are blackmailed by an individual who claims to have seen them commit vehicular homicide. The film is not deep but the story holds your attention as the characters manipulate themselves and each other in and out of corners. I first saw the movie several years ago but it stayed in my mind enough that I bought the DVD when I saw it on Amazon.If you are at home wanting good entertainment for a couple of hours without the typical Hollywood social propaganda this is a really good movie.

    It's always fun to have a good psycho thriller at home to watch when you're tired of the usual reruns - I've always been a Ron Silver fan, may he rest in peace and Rutger sure knows how to play a scary creep. It's a good one to watch with someone you want to cuddle up to....it does get to be a bit too much near the end, but it seems most movies feel compelled to do that. If you like Rebecca DeMornay - do a double feature with The Hand That Rocks the Cradle.
