    This is a great movie. Unfortunately, it only had Spanish sub-titles. I didn't expect to find that in the English section. Besides, English is universal. Common sense would say put English subtitles on the DVD too. Five stars for the movie and one star for the listing.

    The movie has an ok plot, but what keeps this movie exciting are the stylish action sequences (this movie was one of the pioneers in the use of the bullet time effect used on The Matrix) . Get ready to watch Yann Le Pentec aka Le Dobermann ooze coolness. A perfect example of style over substance.

    This film shows what French Cinema can do when it is on top form. From the opening scenes, through adrenaline rush heists, to an explosive ending, it never lets up. The excellent Vincent Cassel is born to play the part of the psychopathic robber with no conscience. His real-life partner Monica Bellucci adds glamour and fiestiness to a cast of oddballs and bumbling cops, headed by the under appreciated Tcheky Karyo. Despite some patently ridiculous effects, the haywire plot comes together and makes for a thoroughly enjoyable ride. Hard to find nowadays, it deserves a better release on Region 2 dvd at a reasonable price, so more people can enjoy it.
