A Toronto-based producer, writer, casting director and broadcaster, Anne Tait produced the award-winning Canada/China co-production _Iron Road(2009)_, a love story that defies all the taboos. A poor but feisty Chinese woman disguised as a guy fakes her way to North America to work on the railroad's explosive crew, and falls in love with the son of the railroad tycoon as thousands of Chinese workers blast through the Rocky Mountains to complete the most dangerous section of the trans-continental railroad. Anne has written and directed for the theater, for CBC Radio, and for television. Her hit play "Yeats in Love" was produced in Toronto, at the Abbey Theatre in Dublin and on tour in Ontario; the television version was produced by University of Toronto, the radio version by CBC and Anne's company is now developing the feature film version.
