Anthony came to acting late in life and as a result he has a fountain of knowledge to delve into, He is a qualified chef spending six years working in a number of exclusive restaurants throughout the world. When he returned to Ireland he talked himself into a job selling furniture, at the funeral of his fathers uncle, Anthony discovered he was related to the late David Kelly. After speaking with David he was convinced acting was his calling. He has dedicated himself to acting ever since. In 1998 he started a three year Diploma in Performance for Screen and Theatre in Liberties College, Dublin. Since then he has honed his skills with Advanced and Masterclass courses in film acting with Vinny Murphy and Terry McMahon, respectively. After completing college, Tony started off with smaller roles in feature films such as 'Veronica Geurin' and 'About Adam' as well as a long list of leading roles in short films such as 'Tango in D Minor' and 'Interrogation Room'.
