Dubbed the "Go-To-Gore-Guy" by The Hollywood Reporter, Brandon Slagle originally hailed from Texas and later, New York. Initially a genre actor he crossed over into directing with the paranormal thriller "The Black Dahlia Haunting", which he won "Best Director" for at the Shockfest Film Festival in Hollywood California.
