Bruce Spielbauer was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and grew up in Dallas, Texas. He is now based in the Chicago area, but works all over the country. Bruce has been acting since he was 14, and he performed exclusively on stage for 20 years, including seven seasons as a full-time company member of a professional summer-rep dinner theatre. He credits this "on the job training" as being the very best that there is. More recently, he has switched to film and television, and his extensive credits include leading roles and supporting roles in several low-budget independent feature films, including "Qwerty," "Bled White," "Frankenstein: Day of the Beast," "New Day," "Dark Nemesis," "Body In A Dumpster," and "Dust." Recently Bruce appeared as Lyle in his first Western, "Yellow Hill," with Bai Ling. In his spare time, Bruce often works as an extra or a stand-in, and he can be seen briefly in "The Dark Knight.
