Netflix Movies Starring Catherine Bruhier
Catherine Bruhier was born in Belize, Central America (formerly British Honduras). Her mother and father were both born and raised in Belize. Her family moved to Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada, when she was an infant. After graduating from Saint John High School (the same High School 'Donald Sutherland' attended) and winning a scholarship and an artistic award she moved to Toronto to pursue her acting career. After attending both York University, University of Toronto (briefly) and graduating from the George Brown College Theatre Program, Catherine's first big break came when she was cast as the leading lady along side Eric McCormack in the David French play "Salt-Water Moon". The 2 cast member, equity play, ran at Theatre New Brunswick's main stage. The play was considered untraditional casting as this was the first time the female character was portrayed by a non- Caucasian actor, as a result Catherine was asked to write an article in Toronto's 'Theatrum Magazine', on her experience as visible minority in an untraditionally cast role.
