Netflix Movies Starring Chook Sibtain

Six foot three Chook Sibtain was born in East London and christened Joplin Sibtain. 'Chook' being a nickname given him by the family - he has a sister and two brothers - after the noises he made as a baby. He had early desires to be a pianist but, at age thirteen,went to a Community Centre in Hackney where he first learned about acting. After winning a scholarship to The Webber Douglas Academy of Drama,in London he joined several major theatrical companies including the Royal National Theatre and most notably the prestigious Royal Shakespeare Company, with whom he played Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet and toured the country, just before taking on a 9 month stint in the soap opera 'Eastenders'. Since then he has appeared in numerous television roles, from 'Doctor Who' to 'Hustle'. He will be appearing in a forthcoming film, 'Ghost Recon' a live action version of the game 'Ghost Recon Alpha', scheduled for release in May 2012. Read more on iMDB
