A native of Vancouver, BC, Daryl got bit by the acting bug at elementary school. He attended the University of Victoria and graduated from the National Theatre School of Canada (Montreal) in 1983. Stage appearances across Canada include leading roles at Neptune Theatre (Halifax), Theatre New Brunswick, Centaur Theatre (Montreal), National Arts Centre (Ottawa), Canadian Stage (Toronto), Blyth Festival, Manitoba Theatre Centre, Globe Theatre (Regina), Alberta Theatre Projects (Calgary), Citadel Theatre (Edmonton), Theatre Northwest (Prince George), Vancouver Playhouse and Arts Club (Vancouver) and the Belfry Theatre (Victoria). Most recently, Daryl appeared at the PAL Theatre (Vancouver) in the Canadian Premiere of Sharr White's "Annapurna." Upcoming, a recurring role in the Hallmark "When Calls the Heart" as RCMP Inspector Houston; a less than scrupulous urban renewal developer in the second episode of the "X-Files" reboot; a romantic Dad in Hallmark's "All Things Valentine"; and a throwback Sheriff in DC's "Legends of Tomorrow".
