Born in Mexico City, Fernanda Romero started her career participating in the sensational youth group Fryzzby (BMG). Although after her early career she walked away from music to study Fashion Design, her destiny was always to be in front of the camera. After getting the opportunity to host the popular show "Control" on Univision, she collaborated with Telemundo in "La Ley del Silencio," venturing into film with roles in independent films such as the horror movie Creature of Darkness with actors Matthew Lawrence, Kevin Alejandro from Southland ("The Hot Chick"), and comedies Wanna be Me with Shalim Ortiz ("Heroes") and Ready or Not with Alex Rocco ("Smokin' Aces). The production that raised her career to another level was The Eye with Jessica Alba, after which she appeared in multiple Hollywood big-budget films including The Burning Plain from director Guillermo Arriaga, alongside Charlize Theron, Drag Me to Hell by avowed director Sam Raimi, Red Canvas with Maria Conchita Alonso and Once Fallen with Ed Harris.
