Although he projected both charm and talent as the young "Patrick Dennis" in the stage and film versions of "Auntie Mame," Jan Handzlik ultimately dropped out of acting completely to become a successful lawyer. Long a partner in the nationally recognized law firm of Kirkland and Ellis, he is a specialist in white collar crime, and, in October 2000, was chosen to chair the American Bar Association's National White-Collar Crime Committee.
