Jeremy Lowe was born on April 24, 1970 in Bethesda, Maryland. His mother Kaaren Kerrigan and father Billy Lowe split before he was born. Kaaren moved both Jeremy and older brother Keith to Montgomery Village in Gaithersburg, Maryland where his mother worked as a hairdresser, and raised the boys alone. Lowe wanted to be an actor since his first experience in front of a crowd singing "Joy to the World" (Jeremiah was a bull frog) for the talent show at Seven Locks Elementary School when he was 6. Two months after high school Lowe moved to Los Angeles to study with famed acting teacher and creator of the Meisner Technique, Sanford Meisner. Widely respected for his hand in the development of a whole generation of actor's actors (Bobby Duvall, Steve McQueen, Gregory Peck, Peter Falk, John Voight) and his part in the creation of The Group Theater.
