Though born in Ohio, Joseph "Joe" McCaughtry has spent his teenage years in Southern Maryland. His passion for acting was discovered by his theater director at the age of fourteen when he began acting in high school theater. Joe began acting professionally on stage with the Port Tobacco Players, a local playhouse in La Plata, Maryland.
