Born in Brooklyn and raised on Long Island, Judy attended Hofstra University as a Theatre Arts Performance major, where she studied and worked with notables such as Peter Friedman, Zane Buzby, and Joe Morton. Over the years, her own professional career has provided her with a variety of opportunities from working live in regional theatre to professionally dancing, teaching theatre arts, appearing in clubs as a singer-songwriter, modeling for print, performing voice over work, and acting in films, commercials, industrials, music videos, and new media. She continues to work steadily and to win and be nominated for awards. She was one of three people to be nominated for Best Actor at the 2015 San Antonio 48 Hour Film Project (for "The Visit," which won Audience Choice and was nominated as Best Film), and in 2013 she won Best Actor/Actress in a Short Film at the New Mexico Fright Fest for her role as Stella in "Arose the Coward.
