Of Spanish and British descent, Kika Child is a Colombian-born stage, film and television actress whose debut film, "Gatica, el Mono", directed by Leonardo Favio, was the most acclaimed film in Argentina in the early 90's, was selected for Best Foreign Film in the Academy Awards, and won the Goya Award as well as five Silver Condor Awards. A trained dancer and singer, Kika has devoted the last twenty five years to honing her craft and creating versatile roles in critically acclaimed films and prime-time sitcoms and television series, working with directors such as Jonathan Caouette, Pepe Sanchez and Sergio Cabrera. She lives in New York, where she can be seen playing the role of Dona Guisa in "Doña Flor and her Two Husbands" at the Spanish Repertory Theater. Read more on iMDB
