A Cuban-American native of Miami, Florida, Leo graduated from the University of Miami as a Registered Nurse. His nursing career path brought him to Los Angeles which subsequently allowed him to to pursue his acting dream. Soon after arriving, Leo studied with Alex Taylor of the Taylor School of Acting in Burbank, Ca and it opened his eyes. He knew making his own film would be the best way to showcase his real talents so he Starred in The Shift with Danny Glover which he also wrote and produced.
