Netflix Movies Starring Liz Kirkman
Liz Kirkman was born in Hamilton, New Zealand. She grew up in Palmerston North, attending a musical school, Freyberg High School, where she learnt the clarinet and sang in various choirs. After performing in many musicals, she continued her studies, with Dr Angie Farrow at Massey University then training in Theatre at Victoria University of Wellington. There she gained an Honours Degree in Theatre, focusing on Scriptwriting, Community Theatre and Directing. She's taught on a variety of National Performing Arts courses and Internationally, in Singapore. She has performed Nationally in two person versions of King Lear, Macbeth and Othello with Ralph Johnson whom she also appeared with as Detective Kathryn Beattie in Feature Film _Eternity (2013)_ qv. Ralph's role of Sherlock, earnt him the award of Best Supporting Actor at the 2013 Madrid Film Festival. In 2014, Liz will be seen in New Zealand Film Commission funded short film 'Cub', web series 'CNT Live' and web series, 'Hutt Valley Dream Project' and is lined up to play a lead in a new feature film by writer/director, Chaz Harris.
