Marcus was born in Augusta, Georgia. His mother, Maruquel is from San Francisco, Panama and his father, Marcus Sr. is from Camp Springs, Maryland. He also has a younger brother, Marcienne, who graduated from the University of Hawaii in 2015. As a military dependent, Marcus spent the majority of his childhood growing up in various states across the country as well as overseas in countries like Korea, Panama, and Thailand. He attended his first year of college at North Carolina Central University where he studied Business, but ultimately transferred to the University of Oklahoma when he was recruited for the track and field team. During his time at OU, he studied acting while competing for the track and field team in the winter and spring. He ended his athletic career at the University of Oklahoma in 2012 receiving All Conference and 2nd Team All American accolades and graduated in 2014. Read more on iMDB
