Mariela is a cuban actress. At the early age of 13 she stared her artistic career working in different advertising campaigns and dancing in theaters and television with the Cuban Television Ballet institute of Havana. In 2009 she moved to Italy where she continued her career. This allowed her to travel around the world and, because of that, she's fluent in three languages: English, Italian and Spanish. Her career grew up bringing her to film important commercials such as the Lancia Thema, directed by Gabriele Muccino. In 2010 she began her acting studies at Michael E. Rodgers Acting School in Milan. After 2 years she went to New York to increase her knowledge. One of her coaches in NY was Terry Schreiber. During the school she took part in several independent short films and at the end of her studies she returned to Italy where she was cast for the series Horror Vacui, directed by Paola Rotasso and Riccardo Sardone.
