Melissa-Jane (AKA: MJ) is an actor, choreographer, theatre director and fitness expert. She was born in Nova Scotia, grew up mostly in Ottawa and has been based in Toronto for most of her career. She has been nominated for two Dora Mavor Moore Awards for acting, one BroadwayWorld Toronto nomination for Best Female Lead Actor and two BroadwayWorld Toronto nominations for Best Original Choreography. MJ can be seen and heard on Canadian screens and radios, and has worked across North America in hundreds of live productions. She has made 'dance expert' appearances on "The Dr.OZ Show" and "The Steven & Chris Show", improvised for two seasons on the Howie Mandel show "This Is How We Do It" (Global/NBC), played Sajuica for three seasons of "Erky Perky" (YTV) and hosted two seasons of "What's Cooking" (W Network).
