Neil Jain was raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Molecular Biology. A year later, he attended New York University to pursue acting. His breakthrough came when he landed a supporting role in the upcoming film _Deep and Dreamless Sleep, The (2003)_ directed by Matthew Harrison.
