Osamah Sami is an Australian actor, writer, blogger, stand up comedian and spoken word artist born in Iran to Iraqi parents. He has a long list of film, television and theatre credits both as actor and writer, including appearing opposite Claudia Karvan in the Tony Ayres directed, award-winning tele-movie "Saved". Osamah also created the original comedy series "Two Refugees and a Blonde" as well writing and starring in Australia's first Muslim rom-com "Ali's Wedding," directed by award-winning director Jeffrey Walker and shot by Oscar nominated cinematographer Don McAlpine. His role as Amor in the Melbourne Theatre Company production of "I Call My Brothers" earned him a Green Room Award nomination for best lead actor.
