Rachel is originally from Wisconsin. She began singing and acting at a very young age. She toured churches around Minnesota with a choir ensemble called "The Mustard Seeds" and when she became old enough to drive, she began acting and modeling classes in Minneapolis. At 18, she got her first agent in Minneapolis and began booking small gigs like a featured part in "Mallrats" and a speaking part on the TV series "Real Stories of the Highway Patrol". She worked in commercials - Best Buy most notably. She received her B.A. in theatre from Augsburg College in Minneapolis. While at Augsburg she played the Maggie in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof", Gwendolen in "The Importance of Being Earnest" and Audrey in "As You Like It", among others.
