Actress Ryan Bartley was born in the heart of Texas - Fort Worth (Cowtown), Texas. Ryan began her acting career when she was only six years old, performing with a musical theater touring company and performing in various plays and musicals at Creative Arts Theater and School in Arlington, Texas. Ryan was accepted into the prestigious theater program at the magnet arts high school, Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, located in Dallas, Texas. Ryan began working in voice-over, first performing for Radio Disney, recording dozens of radio spots, and later voicing the lead character, Emi Ito, for the New Horizon English Textbook used throughout the country of Japan to teach school-aged children English. Ryan completed high school a year early and was ranked second in her class at that time. Thereafter, she relocated from Dallas to Los Angeles, where she immediately booked her first major feature film, a Lifetime movie entitled Queensized starring Nikki Blonsky and Annie Pots.
