Sharice Angelle Williams is an African American Actress, born December 23, 1984 to Calvin Williams and Stephanie Grant in New Orleans, La. At the age of 8 Sharice took a theater class, which helped her perform in her first play, Peter Pan. Sharice was originally cast as an Indian, but as rehearsal progressed third grade teacher Ms. Keegan saw Sharice's natural ability to entertain. Ms. Keegan then cast Sharice the lead role of Peter Pan. Her teacher was thrilled with her voice, attitude, and talent. Despite the fact that Sharice was a girl, the play went to many schools in the city, outreaches, and The New Orleans Jazz Fest. It was then, Sharice realized her gift on stage that she enjoyed entertaining. Sharice learned to harness all of her emotions and strengths into acting.
