Shazad Latif was born in London in July 1988 of mixed English, Scottish and Pakistani descent. He studied at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School but took an early departure after he secured his first television role as Tariq Masood in BBC One's Spooks. Subsequent TV roles include Charlie Brooker's Black Mirror, Fresh Meat and My Mad Fat Diary. In 2012 he landed the regular role of Clem Fandango in multi-award winning comedy Toast of London, as well as receiving acclaim for his appearance in Ordinary Lies. Shazad's film roles include playing Kushal in The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel alongside Maggie Smith, Dev Patel, Judi Dench, Bill Nighy and Richard Gere, and Chandra Mahalanobis in 'The Man Who Knew Infinity'. In 2016 he joined the cast of Penny Dreadful as Dr Jekyll , which co-stars Josh Hartnett, Eva Green and Rory Kinnear. Read more on iMDB
