Netflix Movies Starring Stef Tovar

Stef Tovar is a native of Chicago, Illinois. His breakout on screen role was Dr. Arrington in Contagion, directed by Steven Soderbergh-where he treats Patient Zero (Gwyneth Paltrow) and must tell her husband (Matt Damon) of her death. An award-winning stage actor, Stef spent six years in Los Angeles and, after moving back to the Midwest in 2006, founded Route 66 Theatre Company to keep his ties to West Coast. In its inaugural production of On an Average Day, Stef played the role of Jack in sold-runs both Los Angeles and Chicago. He remains the company's Artistic Director and was most recently seen as Miller in the critically acclaimed production of The Downpour at Greenhouse Theater Center, Chicago. Stef created the role of Noah in the Route 66 world premiere of A Twist of Water, which had a sold-out run in Chicago before transferring Off-Broadway to 59E59 Theaters in New York in 2012.
