Sunny Mabrey was born and raised in Gadsden, a small city in northeastern Alabama. Upon graduating high school at the age of 17, Sunny entered the world of modeling, traveling to Paris and Miami. However, growing up with a passion for the arts, it wasn't long before she found herself back in school at the private, liberal arts University of Mobile, from which she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater, with a minor in Art. After graduation, Sunny continued to model in New York, where she acquired her first small acting roles. It was a small role in a film in December 1999 that brought her out to Los Angeles, where she has stayed and enjoyed a successful career in film and television. Shortly after arriving in LA, Sunny nabbed her first major film role, starring in the Sony / Revolution Studios feature, The New Guy (2002), opposite DJ Qualls, Eliza Dushku and Zooey Deschanel.
