Waldemar Kalinowski's last engagement was designing Miller Bros. "Sweetwater" and Irish/Swedish film for director Lance Daly, "Life's A Breeze" . For HBO he designed the pilot for "Treme" with Agnieszka Holland directing. "Courageous Heart Of Irena Sendler" for director John Harrrison and "Crazy Heart" for Writer/Director Scott Cooper. In 2007 he completed Ed Harris' fine western, "Appaloosa", and an awards gathering Irish film "Kisses" also by Lance Daly. Prior to that, he and Andy Garcia collaborated on "The Lost City", a film set during the Cuban Revolution. His other projects include HBO's "Path to War", John Frankenheimer's last film, "Stigmata" for director Rupert Wainwright, "Dance With Me" and "Wrestling Ernest Hemingway" for director Randa Haines His credits also include five films with director Mike Figgis: "Leaving Las Vegas", "One Night Stand", "Mr. Jones", "Liebestraum" and "Internal Affairs".
