Wrongfully accused of treason and espionage during World War II, Min Lo Chan, the Chinese Minister of Industrial Development and old college friend of J. Jonah Jameson, flees Hong Kong to seek refuge in the house of his daughter, Emily Chan, in the United States. To help him clear his name, Jameson enlists the help of Peter Parker, unbeknownst to him, however, that the unscrupulous and dangerous businessman, Zeider, is willing to use strong-arm tactics to make sure that his firm gets a multi-billion contract with China.
